NateGooglePicNate Casey / Partner

As a proven “self taught” entrepreneur Nate brings a pragmatic and real-world view to the 80amps culture. He has over 10 years of experience building his co-owned companies via highly calculated social media and word of mouth strategies.

Early in his career, Nate performed tuba professionally in Germany before entering into the world of arts administration where he helped run operations for the Atlanta Symphony and later directed operations for the Brooklyn Philharmonic. In 2007 he exited the non-profit arts world to start planning the launch of Blazetrak.

Blazetrak’s launch was funded through the profits of a web solutions company started by Nate and another business partner. This unusual funding story was featured in Entrepreneur Magazine.

As the CEO and Co-Founder of Blazetrak, Nate and his business partners facilitate guaranteed video access and high-end A&R to the top professionals and celebrities in the music industry. In addition to Blazetrak, he co-owns the “live calendaring” company Availendar.

Nate lectures several times a year at UVA’s Darden School of Business and advises entrepreneurs around the country (from NECs Music in Entrepreneurship program to Howard University’s business school). He holds speaking engagements in social media, start-up bootstrapping, and the music industry and has consulted companies in go-to-market, sales, customer service, investment strategy, and technology (from UI/UX wire framing to sourcing the right talent for development).
Nate holds a Bachelors and Masters Degree in music performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music and the University of Georgia respectfully.
